  • Sign in with your Microsoft account, or create a new one.

  • Click New.

  • Select Storage > and Storage account - blob, file, table, queue.

  • (optional) If you don't already have a Microsoft Azure subscription, you will be asked at this point to sign up.

  • You will be asked to enter some information about your new storage account.

If you're not sure what to enter here, at a minimum you will need to enter a Name and a Resource group name, while leaving the other options at their defaults.

However, it is highly recommended to read the Microsoft documentation on these settings, as they can affect the cost, reliability, and accessibility of your data.

It may take a few minutes to deploy your storage account.

  • After your new storage account is deployed, you will need to get its access key.

    Click on Resource groups.

  • Click on the resource group that you've just created.

  • Click on the new storage account.

  • Click on Access keys.

  • Copy the storage account name and the secret key.

You can use any one of the keys provided.
